Jason Simuyuni a former student of North Oxfordshire University who studied Art and design (HND) and Illustration (BA). He later became an independent creative artist working on his own book called B.O.A.W concept which means best of all worlds. Now Jason is a digital artist and a director for All Knights Ltd and the lead background scene designer for every All Knightz production made.

Jason, though he is the lead background designer also has other skills such as character designing and storyboarding and because of his method of interpreting scenes from creating backgrounds this mixes well with his ability to draw characters making him a key story board artist for many All Knightz animated features.

ART STYLE

Jason being a traditional illustrator works with pencil but also incorporates digital methods such as lining and colour to enhance the images further. Because of his extensive experience he now has the ability to not only create his own style but also re-create other styles to give it a fresh design otherwise not seen before.

In some cases Jason will do the lining work for the background images and then forward the image he has drawn onto to another artist to do the colour and tone, this helps to keep the focus on the actual detail of the image. In cases like this the artist could be another member in the All Knightz team or another one of our artists over seas in Nigeria like Tobe Ezeogu.

DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION

Jason's most recent illustration venture comes in the form of a graphic novel in progress called The K-nin9 Kingz. The story will take place around the South West London area and revolve around the canine world, seen through their eyes and will also be developed into an animated movie.
